Each show brings something new. It may be an interview with an independent artist, or a spotllight featuring the music of one of the Jazz Legends or a Jam session where the music is performed live in the studio.

Starting Wednesday May 16th - Meet Poet Golda Soloman. We share the native New Yorker gene as we listen to her Poetry and Jazz from her CD "Word Riffs" . Her musicians provide a musical track as Golda weaves her stories about her life in New York City. She us back to the days when she spent time in Jazz Clubs in the Village and in Harlem and to the time when she was a child in Brooklyn. She also treats us to a reading sans music in the studio.

Starting Wednesday May 23 - We start the first in a 2 part interview with Singer/Bassist Carlene Ray. Now 85 years old, Carlene tells about her rich career in Jazz . We start with her early work with the International Sweethearts of Rhythm, an all female big band that existed from 1933-1955.We move from there to her work helping Mary Lou Williams produce herfamous Catholic Mass.
